Who we are

This privacy policy applies to the website silverpost.eu, operated by SilverPost Media S.r.l., Via dei Mille 14, 20121 Milano, Italy (Partita IVA IT04812930155). For privacy enquiries: privacy@silverpost.eu.

Data we collect

When you visit this website, the web server automatically records standard server log data: your IP address (anonymised to the last octet), the pages you visited, the time and date of your visit, and the browser and operating system you used. This data is retained for a maximum of 90 days for security and statistical purposes.

If you submit the contact form on the About page, we collect your name, email address, and phone number for the sole purpose of responding to your enquiry. This data is not shared with third parties and is deleted once the enquiry is resolved, or within 24 months, whichever comes first.

Cookies

This website uses a single first-party cookie (sp_cookie_consent) to record whether you have accepted or rejected the cookie consent prompt. This cookie does not contain personal data, expires after 365 days, and is not transmitted to third parties.

If you accept cookies, we use anonymised analytics data (page visit counts, referring domains, browser types) to understand how the archive is used. No individual user profiles are built, and no data is shared with advertising networks.

If you reject cookies, the analytics functionality is not activated. The sp_cookie_consent rejection cookie is still set to prevent the consent prompt from reappearing.

Third-party content

This website loads images from Wikimedia Commons via direct URL. Wikimedia Foundation's own privacy policy applies to those requests. We use Google Fonts (Inter) loaded via fonts.googleapis.com; Google's privacy policy applies to those requests.

No social media tracking pixels, advertising tags, or retargeting cookies are placed by this website.

Your rights

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 (as amended by Legislative Decree 101/2018), you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you. You also have the right to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).

To exercise these rights, write to privacy@silverpost.eu or to the postal address above. We will respond within 30 days.

Data transfers

All data processed by SilverPost Media S.r.l. is stored on servers within the European Economic Area. No personal data is transferred to countries outside the EEA.
